Se acerca el 35º Congreso de la SADEMI/6º Encuentro de Enfermería de Medicina Interna de Andalucía, que se celebra en Sevilla durante los días 6-7 de junio.
Te habrás preguntado cómo puedes participar y aumentar tu protagonismo durante los días del encuentro. Para ello, hemos desarrollado esta entrada con algunos consejos que te pueden ser de utilidad para interaccionar y sacar el mayor provecho al uso de redes sociales. Y eso, tanto si eres de los que acudirás presencialmente, o bien, si prefieres desde casa, estar atento a las conversaciones que se generen.
El uso de las redes sociales está completamente extendido gracias a la disponibilidad de elementos portables como smartphones, tabletas y portátiles que nos permiten estar conectados durante gran tiempo de nuestra vida. Twitter se está convirtiendo en una herramienta de comunicación cada vez más relevante en los congresos médicos dado que permite la transmisión de información de manera rápida y sencilla.
-Es útil como canal para la organización, de cara a transmitir información sobre las actividades del congreso.
-Es un medio para divulgar información científica y crear debate.
-Facilita la difusión y visibilidad del encuentro.
-Y, sobre todo, ayuda a transmitir la información entre los asistentes presenciales y los “virtuales”.
Como comenta en esta interesante entrada el cardiólogo Jose Juan Gómez de Diego, ver las noticias, saber lo que está pasando en otras salas, enterarse de las controversias, que te avisen de donde hay una sesión interesante… Y, sobre todo, que tú participes con tus opiniones.
Cada vez vemos en los congresos una etiqueta o “hashtag” que identifica la reunión y con el que se nos pide etiquetemos todos los tweets emitidos. En nuestro caso #35SADEMI y #6ENFSADEMI.
Etiquetar nuestros tweets es relevante ya que nos permite hacer un seguimiento y recopilación de información tan variada como:
-un feedback de los contenidos tratados.
-los temas que más han interesado.
-los profesionales claves o influyentes en determinados temas.
-un recopilatorio de los contenidos de las mesas, etc., etc.
¿Cómo podemos hacer un uso útil y atractivo de esta herramienta? Ahí van algunos consejos:
-La forma más sencilla de participar es seguir la cuenta del Congreso (@Sademi_MI) y los hashtag mencionados. Elegir los tweets que más te gusten y retuitearlos.
-Twitter es una buena herramienta para generar conversación. A lo largo de las exposiciones se nos pueden ocurrir preguntas, ideas complementarias o comentarios que podemos difundir a través de las redes sociales, como una imagen de una diapositiva, una referencia bibliográfica de interés, ideas para llevarse a casa, etc., etc. No hay que saturar la red con miles de mensajes. De todo lo que se diga hay que escoger aquello que pensemos sea, verdaderamente interesante.
-Podemos generar buenas vibraciones mencionando cuentas de los asistentes y conversando sobre algo interesante, felicitando, haciendo buenas críticas, apoyando la organización del encuentro y a la participación de los congresistas, etc., etc.
-Twitter permite grabar videos desde la propia herramienta. Compartir contenido de este tipo también puede ser enriquecedor. Los talleres del congreso, pueden ser un momento para ello.
-Detalles como la calidad de la presentación, los ponentes, la organización del encuentro, que sirvan para tener en cuenta para esta edición de SADEMI y las siguientes.
¿Hay normas para el uso de Twitter en Congresos? Si, y en este encuentro no somos menos. Conviene recordar algunas cuestiones de valor al respecto, como nos recuerda otra de las internistas referentes en redes sociales la Dra. Olga Araujo con motivo del 38 Congreso Nacional SEMI:
-No todo vale. Si alguien manifiesta que se evite el uso de Twitter durante su intervención, respétalo.
-No todo cabe. No es necesario tuitear una sesión completa. Resume las ideas principales a modo de titulares.
-No sin permiso. Si en la imagen se identifican personas, pide permiso. No todos quieren ser difundidos en redes sociales.
-No ignores. Ignorar añade gasolina al fuego. Respeta, se responsable, responde, se amable, agradece e interacciona en Twitter.
-Revisa el tweet antes de enviarlo: datos, imagen, enlaces. ¡Y la gramática y ortografía! Y no te olvides de incluir los hashtag oficiales del Congreso para que podamos seguir tus contenidos con facilidad.
Y sobre todo diviértete mientras compartes conocimiento, crea comunidad, ponte en contacto con los compañeros y contribuye a llevar el Congreso a aquellos profesionales que no puedan disfrutarlo de forma presencial.
